Well-equipped house in perfect order with great location! - Left on 12/5/2013 for a stay in December 2013
We stayed for 8 days in November, 2013, at Casa Bahia Limon and we can strongly recommend the house if you are looking for easy-living close to the beach! The house is spacious, well-planned, convenient and modern. Everything you would ever need in a house is there and in very good condition! The owner, Drake, has very detailed written instructions on how to handle everything in the house, from the 3D TV to the Housealarm, very handy if you are not familiar with everything in an american home! The house is located on a quiet street, there is no noise from traffic to worry about and It's only a 200 yard walk to the beach, where we saw dolphins and lots of birds. Thanks Drake, Casa Bahia Limon exceeded our expectations!
Christmas in Englewood at Casa Bahia Limon - Left on 12/31/2012 for a stay in December 2012
My family stayed at Casa Bahia Limon for 8 nights over the holiday season. Although the weather wasn't as warm as we'd like, we had a wonderful stay in our rental house with easy access to the beach. Since we have family in town we were the hot spot and had plenty of space to entertain and host some gatherings. The house is ideal for families with young children and the elevator was very handy in the arrival and departure process, bringing up the groceries, and for our relatives that don't do well with stairs. The house was beautifully furnished and had everything you could possibly need on hand. Overall a wonderful time!
Beautiful home, fantastic weather, great beach!! - Left on 04/19/2012 for a stay in March 2012
We had a wonderfully relaxing 4 weeks in this beautiful new home. The owners greeted us when we arrived, explained all the security system, the instructions on operating the elevator, and showed us all the amenities of the place. A very detailed binder has been prepared with all types of info of the area and the house's features. We were so pleased to find the house just as it was pictured in the listing - clean, roomy, wonderfully, but simply decorated - everything we were looking for. The master suite was our favorite part - it has a delightful walk-in shower. The family room was really comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and we made great use of the 'game table'. Drake had also provided a couple of bikes for our use - we walked or rode bikes most mornings, spent a lot of the day at the beach, and strolled back to the beach in time to watch the sunsets. Manasota Key itself has 3 very nice restaurants, and of course, you just cross the bridge to the mainland to find many more restaurants, shops, and other interests. Our biggest disappointment was the fact that we won't be able to stay in this home again next year! It will be hard to find another place so perfectly suited to our needs!!
Quality time in a quality place! - Left on 04/12/2012 for a stay in April 2012
The Casa Bahia Limon was a wonderful house to stay in. 3 generations of us had all our needs met. The elevator was especially helpful for my Grandparents to come and go with luggage. There were bicycles that were available to ride and I rode everyday. Manasota has a great bike path! And Casa Limon is in a perfect location. The beach is just down the street and there is a shower outside the house to rinse off. My Grandpa and Uncle went fishing on the inland water way canal at the end of the road and they also fished out in the gulf. Inside, the living area has high ceilings and is quite luxurious with granite and stylish details and also, there is a kitchen with nearly everything you could possibly need. There were games and puzzles, Including one 1500 underwater scene puzzle that deeply involved nearly every one!
It is like being in a tropical tree house, with sights and sound - Left on 03/12/2012 for a stay in February 2012
I loved Bahia Limon the minute i saw it. an incredible beach location nestled in a beautifully landscaped setting. Mornings were spent outside on the screened lanai, step from our oversized master bedroom suite. The views and sounds were dreamy... keep binoculars close as there are many birds to id. The spacious 3 bedroom home lacks for nothing, well equipped kitchen, off kitchen laundry, second bedroom w/ ensuite bathroom... all new, immaculately clean and move in ready. All of this was so convenient, but the elevator was the cream on the cake, taking in groceries, or just feeling lazy, this feature was fantastic. Treat yourself to this lovely gem. We have stayed for years on Manasota Key... this is our favorite. I preferred the off beach (300 ft.) location as it was private and quiet. The multiple levels of patios were great and followed the sun. The outside shower on the ground level was fun and convenient too.
